Red Minaret Mosque
built by Sheikh Alaeddin Ali Bin Shams al-Din Muhammad al-khaluti in 940 Ah / 1533 ad, and was known by his name in the first half of the sixteenth century, then the people of Jerusalem called it the red minaret mosque after a red ribbon that surrounded a balcony from above, it is one of the most important buildings built in the Ottoman era, and since it is considered one of the most magnificent minarets in the city of Jerusalem, a girls ' school affiliated with Al-Aqsa schools recently joined Jerusalem, where an elite gathering of Jerusalem scholars is held weekly, and it is located in Saadia lane .
