History and Arabization of Jerusalem

Pure Arab Palestine… This is what history says, and if Israel is working to Judaize and liberate the so-called Promised Land with a focus on the city of Jerusalem, by falsifying ancient history as the city of the fathers, where Solomon's temple is, relying on traditional biblical studies, which confirm the existence of the ancient kingdom of Israel in the land of Palestine, and paraphrasing historical facts and as for what the Jews are promoting through the research centers spread all over the world, the It is a falsification of facts.

A group of specialized researchers have been working to achieve the Arabization of Jerusalem in particular, and Palestine in general, because it is important to refute attempts to deny the Arab history of the city of Jerusalem, whether this denial is by the Jews, or by those who followed their example, and the manifestations of the actual division on the ground, between the two parts of the city of Jerusalem, east and West, and the distinctive features of the eastern part, confirm the historical dimension of the Arabization of the city of Jerusalem, as the authenticity of the Arabization of its eastern part exposes the manifestations of the Zionist presence created in its western part.

There are two regional committees concerned with Jerusalem Affairs tasked with protecting and defending it, namely the Jerusalem Committee of the organization of Islamic Cooperation - formerly the Islamic Conference - which was established in 1975, and the Jordanian royal committee for Jerusalem affairs, in addition to UN international resolutions that all determine the status of Jerusalem and deny any alleged right of Jews alone in it, contrary to thousands of statements of Arab and Islamic condemnation the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Jerusalem in linguistic lexicons
According to the Arabs, in the article (Jerusalem): Jerusalem : he is the pure one who is free from defects and shortcomings, and Jerusalem is a name and a source, and from it it was told to the committee of the Jerusalem barn. Sanctification: cleansing and blessing, sanctifying any purification.

Ibn added perspective in the tongue of the Arabs. : One of these is the holy house, that is, the cleansed house, that is, the place where he is cleansed from sins. As for the Holy Land, it is the Levant, and the Holy House of it is then mentioned : the Holy Land : purgatory, namely Damascus, Palestine, and some Jordan.

Allah, the Almighty, has blessed the entire city of Jerusalem, and it was blessed with fruits, worldly possessions, and then the prophets and righteous who lived on its land spread good, commanded good and forbade evil and were buried in it, and the name of Al-Aqsa was called Al - Aqsa, as al-Qurtubi says, for the distance between it and the Grand Mosque, and The Farthest Mosque from the people of Mecca in the To Heaven.

Jerusalem .. Multiple names throughout history
The city of Jerusalem is called by many names, associated with its history, its origin, and its inhabitants, which are the names of linguists and scientists concerned with Islamic Civilization, which are names with certain connotations that have accumulated for the holy city over the ages, and came as a sign of its Arabness, cultural heritage, and religious status, and the use of these names is mentioned in the Koran, Hadith, history, literature, travel books, books of virtues of countries in general, and books of virtues that talk about the holy city.

Jerusalem is the largest city in Palestine with a population of ninety thousand people according to the 2016 census, Jerusalem has been known by many names throughout its historical eras, the most important of these names are: "yibus" relative to its creators from the Arab yibusians, and "Jerusalem" : i.e. the city of Salem, or the city of Salem," oshamim " designation

The Egyptians called it, "hierosalima": the Greek name for the city," iliacapitolina": the name given to the city by the Romans after its destruction and rebuilding again, then the name was shortened to Elijah or Elijah when the Muslims conquered it, and finally" Jerusalem": the name given to the city by the Muslim Arabs, while" Jerusalem " is the English name and the rest of the European designations are close to this formula.

Jerusalem is an Arabic name, not Hebrew
The first Canaanite Arab migrations to the north of the Arabian Peninsula were about four thousand years ago, and settled on the West Bank of the Jordan River, a mountainous area of Palestine, and the land from the river to the sea was called the "land of Canaan", and the Canaanites established the city of Jerusalem, which is the first fixed name for the city of Jerusalem, and antiquities, documents and Hebrew sources indicate that the name "Jerusalem" is not Hebrew, but", or" the city of Salem"," the city of Salem", where it was once the stop of commercial caravans, so if it arrived, it was safe to enjoy peace.

- The first source of Judaism, the book (The Old Testament), testifies to the Arabic of this name, and that it is not Hebrew. The name "ur Salem" was mentioned 656 times without J after Lam; Yerushalayim, which is the Arabic version, and only 4 times B after Lam was "Yerushalayim", that is, in its form in the Hebrew language, and the proof of this is the lexicon of the words of the Old Testament writers in Hebrew, and this indicates that the name was originally "ur Salem", the Arabic city of Salem, and the distorted Hebrew name was formulated on the weight of misraim, which is Egypt in Hebrew.

The name "holy" is mentioned in the Old Testament in two places in the books of Isaiah and Nehemiah.. Thus, the main names of the city predated the presence of the Israelites in it, and these names cannot be attributed to the Hebrew language because they also predate the emergence of that language.

Part of the wall built by the Jebusites in Palestine

A British archaeological expedition had conducted excavations in Jerusalem and found only pottery inscribed on it, in the Canaanite language, and that mission revealed that the early founders of the city of Jerusalem were the Jebusites, as it was in the area where those relics were found the castle of the Jebusites, who initially established their homes, on some Heights adjacent to a water spring called today ain Umm Derg, in the village of Silwan located in the southern suburb of the present city of Jerusalem. And the Jebusites fortified that site, or that city, and over time, that city was abandoned, and replaced by the main nucleus of a larger city, based on other Heights and hills, namely: the Olive Hill, the Sanctuary Hill, the Zion Hill.

Other historical sources mention that the Jebusite King (Melchizedek )was the first to build Jebus, and he was peace-loving, until he was called the "king of peace", hence the name of the city (Salem). Although that city was subjected to the Pharaohs of Egypt, they did not try to destroy it, and they were content with collecting tribute from its inhabitants, and they called it sometimes by the name of the Jebusite (yabishi), and sometimes by its Canaanite name (orsalem).

Leadership for the Arabs in the land of Palestine

Historical sources prove the leadership of the Arabs-Canaanites-amurites-Jebusites in the reconstruction of the land of Palestine, and the construction of its cities and villages, and all agree, along with Jewish sources, on the fact that that land belonged to these Arabs, before the father of the prophets Abraham, peace be upon him, and before there were Jews or Jews, and that land remained Arab throughout the history of the city of Jerusalem.
