Northeast Arches
It is located at the northern end of the courtyard of the rock (located in the middle of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque) on its eastern side. It was established during the Mamluk era in the year 726 AH - 1325 AD, i.e. during the reign of King Muhammad bin Qalawun al-Salihi, and this is recorded on Panel in the arch.
It consists of two great knees at the ends, and two cylindrical columns in the middle. Its height is seven meters, and its stone staircase has two stages and includes 11 steps.
