The Western Arches
It is located in the middle of the western border of the courtyard of the Holy Rock, located in the heart of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Its well-known construction dates back to the year 340 AH-951 AD.
It consists of two great knees at the ends, and three cylindrical columns in the middle. Its ladder has 24 steps, ascending to the courtyard of the rock from the mosque's western yard. It was renewed again in the Fatimid era, shortly after its establishment.
