It is located in the southernmost eastern corner of Al-Ghazali Square, to the left of the interior of the Al-Aqsa gate of the tribes, and adjacent to it, and is considered one of the small historical cemeteries in the city, as it has an area of (40 M٢), and includes inside it three historical graves belonging to the founder of the ikhshidid state in Egypt : Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad taghaj Al-ikhshid, deceased in ( 334 ah), and the grave of his two sons; Abu Al-Qasim anujur ibn Muhammad, deceased in (349 ah) and Abu Hassan Ali ibn Muhammad, deceased in (355 Ah).

It also includes the mausoleums of Anwar Zaki Nusseibeh, Anwar Khatib Tamimi, His Eminence Sheikh, Saad al-Din al-Alami and two of the martyrs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, namely : martyr jihad Badr and martyr Saleh Al-Yamani.
