Cistern of the Great King Jesus
This cistern has malfunctioned, as part of it is currently used as a medical clinic for the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it used to consist of three corridors with intersecting vaults. The cistern is located in the confined space between the western and southwestern arcades on the surface of the honorable rock, but at the level of the floor of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and based on a stone inscription above one of the entrances to this cistern, the great King Issa ibn al-Adil 6 al-Ayyubi ( nephew of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi) is Who ordered his work.
