The sabil is like the rest of the sabils that Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent granted to Jerusalem. The sabil is located inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the northern side, between Bab Al-Atm and the Dome of the Lovers of the Prophet, 15 meters from Bab Al-Atm. He built the sabil and renewed the mihrab that left it in the month of Sha’ban in the year 1536. Another name is the sabil, the Dome of the Lovers of the Prophet.
