It is located north of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to the right of the exterior of King Faisal's Gate, east of the Persian school, established by Amin al-Din Abdul Amira Sultan Muhammad Bin Qalawun in (731 Ah / 1330 ad). It consists of four floors.

It has been restored several times, especially after the earthquake that occurred in (953 Ah / 1546 ad), and its sheikdom has been inherited by sheikhs from the imam's family since the late Ottoman era, the last of whom was Sheikh Asaad Imam (d), He called it"the House of the imam".

The ground floor contains the remains of some of its sheikhs.
