It was built by Egypt, Khatoun, the spirit of Prince Nasir al-Din ibn Delgadir, during the reign of the Mamluk Sultan Barsbay, in the year 836 AH 1432 AD. It was renewed by the Islamic Endowments Department, but the occupation authorities prevented the completion of the roof.
